Associacao Portuguesa de Manutencao Industrial (AMPI)

APMI was founded in 1981 and is a non-profit making association. Its main objectives are the dissemination of information concerning inspection techniques, promoting training courses and the knowledge interchange with similar organisations worldwide.

To achieve these objectives APMI publish a quarterly technical magazine - Manuten??o, with articles signed by famous managers and technical directors working in the field of Industrial Maintenance.

APMI organise and promote a biannual conference, the "Congresso Nacional de Manuten??o". The 2006 and 2008 conferences will provide fora to disseminate information concerning the LRUCM project. APMI is member of EFNMS and FIM - Federa??o Ibero-Americana de Manuten??o.

Role
To survey the LRUT market in Portugal, its current and future needs (WP-A), to input into the training and certification needs for technicians (WP-H), to provide and facilitate dissemination and exploitation plans in Portugal, organise LRUCM National Conferences & Workshops (WP-I).
