USNDT is a professional creative public organisation uniting specialists working or studying in the field of non-destructive testing and technical diagnostics (NDT&TD).

The Society has the following objectives:

• promotion of progress of research and development in the field of NDT&TD, introduction of the achievements of NDT&TD science and technology into mass production;
• dissemination of scientific-technical information on the results of the activity of scientists and engineers in the field of NDT&DT;
• facilitation of communication between scientists and specialists, development of their initiative, individual and collective creative work;
• promotion of improvement of the level of science and qualifications of scientists, engineers and workers in the field of NDT&TD;
• rendering consultative and information services for solving concrete production problems;
• development of contacts with the scientific and engineering-technical community of foreign countries, with similar foreign public organisations and companies specialising in NDT&TD;
• facilitation of training and certification of NDT&TD personnel.

Role
To survey the LRUT market in the Ukraine and Eastern Europe, its current and future needs (WPA), to input into the training and certification needs for technicians (WP-H), to provide and facilitate dissemination and exploitation plans in the Ukraine and Eastern Europe, organise LRUCM National Conferences & Workshops (WP-I).
